Sanibel "Blue Lagoon" History

Our two families both live and work year around on Sanibel and Captiva and between us we have four children.  We became the proud new owners of Sand Pointe 214 in the summer of 2005.  We like to refer to our "Sanibel Blue Lagoon" as the "Condo that Friends Built".  One look at the gorgeous view from our condo prompted us to name our new condo the "Blue Lagoon".  We then began the process of bringing our new Gulf Front condo up to date with all of today's amenities and comforts.  We hope you will enjoy the following photo journal as it was a labor of love and great fun.

Kids "help" before Renovation Begins:

After donating all of our condominium's furnishings and appliances to the victims of Hurricane Katrina, we decided to involve our children in the renovation process.  Once the condo was empty we surprised our children with a "Color this Condo" party!  They had the time of their lives using washable markers and a large box of sidewalk chalk to decorate the entire unit.  We found out the hard way that it took many gallons of paint to cover their creativity but it was worth the fun!
